Alternative R&B singer, Tangina Stone open to collaborating with African artists

Tangina Stone, a New York-based alternative R&B singer who mixes R&B with pop a little of hip-hop, has hinted that she would love to explore collaborating with Ghanaian or African artists.

“I haven’t really considered it yet, but I would be totally open to it if anyone out there is open to working with me. I am definitely a fan of different artists from all over the world.  People describe my sound as an international sound, so I am interested in collaborating on the international level with other artists as well,”says Tangina.

The singer, who was a featured performer for Spirit Airline’s official SXSW showcase, was speaking about how SXSW opened her up to music from various artists from around the world.

“Performing at SXSW means a lot, it’s an opportunity to have lots of exposure, and play for an audience that you otherwise may not ever get to interact with. It is also a chance to connect with other artists. “

Tangina is also a WOC and LGBTQ+ activist with a sound that’s best described as an eclectic blend of soul, rock, electronic, and R&B elements, packaged with chillingly honest vulnerability in her lyrics.
