Blogger John Claude Tamakloe dies in car crash involving KK Fosu and KayBlez

Highlife musicians KK Fosu and KayBlez were involved in a fatal car crash on the Accra-Apam highway on May 25, 2024.

The accident, which occurred as they were heading to perform at a wedding, resulted in the tragic death of their publicist, John Claude Tamakloe. According to their driver, Nana Obiri Yeboah, the collision happened when a Benz car, attempting to overtake another vehicle, ran head-on into their Toyota Camry.

Both musicians sustained serious injuries, including broken legs.

The devastating incident has deeply affected the entertainment community, which is mourning the loss of Tamakloe and hoping for the musicians’ swift recovery.

Tamakloe, who was the chief editor at Beeniewords.com, was a hardworking, selfless, and ingenious team player. He worked on several PR and grooming projects for numerous artists, including the Grammy-winning group Morgan Heritage, Rocky Dawuni, Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Edem, Naira Marley, Stephanie Benson, Kaakie, AK Songstress, Lamisi, and Kwesi Amewuga. His absence leaves a huge vacuum in our hearts, and he will be forever missed.
