Bolt celebrates five years in Ghana with five days of Giftmas
To celebrate five years of providing seamless and convenient mobility services to riders across the country, and in tune with the Christmas holiday season, Bolt, Ghana’s leading ride-hailing platform, will be giving various amazing gifts to its loyal riders from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd December 2022.
During this last working week before Christmas, a total of 250 random riders will receive shopping vouchers, Ride credit vouchers, and customised Christmas hampers as Bolt spreads the holiday cheer this Christmas.
Each day, 50 riders will be gifted, with some lucky riders also having the added bonus of meeting some of your favourite social media influencers on their trips.
Since launching in Ghana in 2017, Bolt – the fastest-growing ride-hailing app in Africa – has emerged as the service of choice for Ghanaian commuters. Signing up drivers in the thousands, Bolt has also been a source of income for full-time and part-time drivers.
David Kotei, Country Manager for Bolt Ghana, spoke about his appreciation to riders for making the service successful these five years. “We wouldn’t be where we are without the hard work and dedication of our drivers,” he said. “To our loyal riders, we also say a big thank you, and that’s why we want to make our fifth anniversary and the Christmas season just a little bit more wonderful this year.”
He expressed his appreciation for riders helping to build the brand, especially through the economically challenging times that the country has experienced within the second half of 2022. “This year has come with some challenges, so we’re happy to bring some joy and smiles to our riders who will be lucky enough to benefit from our Five Days of Giftmas to celebrate Christmas and our fifth anniversary. We look forward to adding more to the service in the next five years and beyond.”
Since Bolt came into the Ghanaian market five years ago, many innovations have been added to the service, including a raft of security features and insurance for drivers and riders.
