Bolt introduces a new ride option called ‘Comfort’
Nonso Onwuzulike, Accra City Manager, Bolt: “At Bolt, our focus is to enhance and elevate the consumer experience. We have been carefully listening to customers’ needs, and are thrilled to announce the introduction of the Comfort category. The category is perfect for young professionals, students, groups of friends and basically anyone in need of more legroom and space to spread out and soak in the beautiful city of Accra.” The comfort category will be an addition to the existing Bolt base category on the app and will have top rated drivers with car models ranging from Toyota Corollas to Honda Civics. Interested drivers with vehicles that meet the requirements of four door cars, 2003 and newer can register to drive on Comfort by visiting the Partners page. The company recently underwent a global rebrand, including changing its name from Taxify to Bolt, in a move aimed at bringing the brand identity in line with the company’s broader vision of transportation. Bolt’s services already include ride-hailing, with cars and motorbikes, as well as scooter sharing.
