2faceheadiesFor the first time since the Best African Act award was instituted for Nigeria’s Hip-Hop World Awards alias The Headies, a non-Ghanaian picked up the honours at the 2011 edition held at the Convention Center of Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos over the weekend. Angola’s sensational dancing singer, Cabo Snoop of ‘Windeck’ fame beat the likes of VIP and R2bees from Ghana to grab the trophy.

The event, hosted by Nollywood actress Rita Dominic and Hip-Hop Star eLDee saw the likes of 2face Idibia bagging 3 awards followed by M.I, Ice Prince, Darey and Dr SID with two gongs each.  Here is the full list of winners:
