One of the most known names in sports journalism in Ghana, Charles Osei Asibey has ended his 13-years of service at Happy FM. He tendered in his resignation this week. He explained his move in a statement to his friends and fans as follows:

After 13years of selfless dedication, long service and commitment, I wish to regrettably announce to my respected colleagues, admirers, cherished listeners and followers that I have mutually quit Happy FM.
I wish to thank all for the encouragement and guidance especially Global Media Alliance for the opportunity to serve and growth rising from a Sports Presenter through Programs Manager, Events Manager to General Manager serving in various capacities within the group.
It was very interesting leading the Keep Fit Festival, The Mass Wedding, Ghana Sports Fans Awards, Blood Donation and many social engagements.
Still a broadcast sports journo, my current preoccupation will be known in the coming days surely to be back to what I know best. Odiasempa, PJ, Crugger, Kele, Joe Dee, Okocha and the wailers, I will miss you company and that of the Happy FM family.
Thank you all for understanding.
