DJ Arafat wins 2012 Kora Awards artist of the year

Ivorian sensation, DJ Arafat won the 2012 Kora Award prize for artist of the year at a ceremony held in Abidjan on Sunday night. Nigerian artiste, Davido emerged the Best Male Newcomer while  2010 Project Fame West Africa Winner, Chidinma also won Best Female West African Act. List of winners out soon! Meanwhile the ‘star’ of the awards, Chris Brown , who had the ceremony postponed from the initial December 29 date due to flight issues performed at a pre-event peace  concert at Abidjan Sports Stadium.  The US pop star however did not attend the main award ceremony.]]>
