‘Coming To Africa’ movie will be premiered across Africa – P.Y Addo

Ghana’s P.Y Addo Boateng who is the producer of the movie ‘Coming To Africa’ has revealed that the movie will be premiered and screened across several countries.

‘Coming To Africa’ tells the story of Adrian (Anwar Jamison), a philandering financial executive, has spent his entire life shunning Black consciousness and chasing corporate success. Adrian’s brother, Buck (Khalil Kain), is an activist who routinely holds community meetings in his barber shop. After a perfect storm of disappointment and discrimination, Adrian finds himself in Ghana on an amusing adventure where he meets Akosua (Nana Ama McBrown) and finds nourishment for his soul.

Speaking to the media at the premiere of the movie in Accra, P.Y who is the producer of the movie disclosed that his team is working on having the movie premiere in countries like Rwanda, Nigeria, Liberia, and other ECOWAS members countries.

Coming To Africa previously held a virtual premiere at the San Fransisco Black Film Festival and was shown on the big screen at The Las Vegas Black Film Festival. the film was nominated for six awards and won three:  Best Comedy, Best Feature, and  Best Lead Actress in a feature Film won by Nana Ama McBrown.
