Comparisons pitch us against each other, and are not needed- Gyakie
“Songbird” Gyakie has stated that she dislikes comparisons because fans end up pitching their favourites against each other.
The “Forever” hitmaker, who has steadily climbed her way unto the musical ladder, in an interview with AJ Sarpong on Citi FM expressed that artistes are different in their own way and in their own crafts, hence, should be enjoyed as individuals minus the comparisons.
“Comparisons are not great. I per se, do not like it when I’m compared to other singers because one ends up being disrespected. I feel we need to support all artistes and not pitch them against one another,” she said in the interview.
