#COVID19: Ministry of Communications bills Kuami Eugene and others for a virtual concert

The Ministry of Communications has selected dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and highlife singer Kuami Eugene to perform at a virtual concert scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2020.

The Easter Monday concert which will see performances from other musicians like Lucky Mensah, Fancy Gadam, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah and others will be televised live on GhOne TV, Joy Prime TV, UTV, Joy News, Facebook Live and YouTube.

The concert is part of activities to launch a new App, “GH COVID-19 TRACKER” which will help in contact tracing people who have come into contact with COVID-19 positive individuals.
The user friendly and free to download mobile software application which will be available for Android and iOS devices after its launch is originally intended for productivity assistance which will augment the state’s efforts in the fight against the global pandemic.

According to the experts, the software will trace anyone who has come into contact with persons carrying the COVID -19 virus.

At the launch, the experts will also train people to find their way around the App and give an insight on who can use it.
