Biggbone Drops Pacey Dancehall Record âFast and Furiousâ
Next-rated Dancehall Sensation, Biggbone has officially released his latest song dubbed âFast and Furious.â
The Dancehall record is a warning shot to the whole world of the impending badness, energy and sui generis style that Biggbone possesses.
Known for energetic stage performances, Biggbone replicates the same vitality with unparalleled ragga vibes throughout the song.
On âFast and Furious,â Biggboneâs delivery is thunderous, inflamed and symbolic of the genreâs jagged soundscape.
In a true Dancehall spirit, Biggbone drifts freely on the fast tempo track with brazen lyrical content.
The songâs pulse coupled with the recurring unifying idea of pushing against all odds to announce oneâs greatness is infectious.
The latter, according to Biggbone, was the fuel for the entire record.
âThis new single is me telling all those who believed in my talent or otherwise, that I am coming with full force musically,â he told Amplify Ghana pre-release.
He also assured his fans of more singles with a possible EP and album all within this year.
Biggbone is on course to awaken the pre-covid hard-core Dancehall era in Ghana with this new song and subsequent projects.
There is more to expect from the camp of Biggbone under his current record label and management team: Goldgang Music, Purebadnez Music and Yardie Recording Academy.
âFast and Furiousâ was produced, mixed and mastered by the talented Jay Scratch.
Itâs a fast-moving train, hop on âFast and Furiousâ by streaming the song here.

J. Cole gets Slizzy on Cash Cobain’s new single “Grippy”
April’s Billboard Rookie of the Month and multi-hyphenate NYC mainstay Cash Cobainhas enlisted rap superstar J. Cole for âGrippyâ, a new version of his acclaimed 2023 song âDunk Contestâ (8M Streams).
Marking the first collaboration between the pair, âGrippyâsees the hip-hop heavyweight offer his most flex-worthy rhymes over Cobainâs signature sexy drill production. The track arrives amidst a hot streak for the rapper and producer, who recently linked up with Ice Spice for the long-awaited video remix for “Fisherrr” (feat. BaySwag) (26M Streams), which marked her third feature ever. It’s been a massive week for Cobain, who just featured alongside Charlie Wilson on Don Toliver’s new single “Attitude”, appeared on A Boogie Wit da Hoodieâs âBodyâ, and produced Lancey Fouxâs âGotta Get Uâ, showcasing why COMPLEX proclaimed that summer 2024 is âlooking very slizzy”.
After steadily garnering momentum with R-rated anthems over his own ethereal production â pioneering the playful sexy drill sound and Slizzy Movementthat heâs now taking to mainstream heights â Cash Cobain is primed for his moment in the spotlight. Following the success of smash singles “Dunk Contest” and “Fisherrr”, the latter of which is being hailed as an early contender for song of the summer, Cobain has since hit 3M Monthly Listeners on Spotify, entered the Top 3 NYC Shazam Charts, and occupied the #1 and #3 slots of the NYC Apple Music Charts as well as #45 on theUrban Radio Charts. With recent releases “Dunk Contest” (watch his Genius Open Mic appearance), the Ice Spice-assisted remix for “Fisherrr” (feat. BaySwag), and now the J. Cole-featuring âGrippyâ, Cash Cobain is elevating his signature sound â and showcasing its ever-growing widespread appeal in the process.
Last month, Cobain took over NYC with his ‘Slizzy Fest’ birthday show at Irving Plaza, a night that boasted a stacked lineup of New Yorkâs finest along with rumors of a surprise set from a certain A-list superstar. After the hype reached a fever pitch, the growing crowd caused security concerns and the show was ultimately canceled ââ but Cobain still wanted to give the fans their money’s worth. So he led the crowd down the street into Union Square and threw a makeshift show with just his crew, a Bluetooth speaker â and hundreds of adoring fans (read ‘I Went to Cash Cobainâs Slizzyfest and All I Got Was That Classic NYC Feeling’ via Rolling Stone and his statement in Billboard). Cobain has since teased potential collaborations with Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Don Toliver (seen filming a music video here), Lil Yachty and more ââ a sure sign of the worldwide stardom soon to come.
These recent releases arrive on the heels of a career-minting 2023 year that wrapped with the production of PinkPantheress’ “Nice To Meet You” (feat. Central Cee), which debuted at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Cobain recently starred alongside her in a nationally-syndicated Apple commercial for the new MacBook). Previous months also saw Cobain produce Drake’s “Calling For You” (feat. 21 Savage), which debuted at #5on the Billboard Hot 100, DJ Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack x Audemars Piguet event, and release his critically-acclaimed debut solo album Pretty Girls Love Slizzy with Giant Music.
