It’s a fun galore for television buffs on DStv this month of September as BBC Entertainment and BBC Lifestyle presents some of the biggest reality TV series, game shows, and lifestyles.

Dating in the Dark USA (Premiere): Is it possible to fall in love with someone you have spoken to intimately, whom you have touchedbut have never actually seen? That’s the key question posed in Dating in the Dark USA, a revealing experiment in which three men and three women try to find a partner by looking with their hearts. Never before have singles been given the opportunity of meeting and interacting for such a prolonged period without actually seeing one another.DStv audiences can tune into BBC Entertainment on DStv fromThursday 1 September at 20:00 CAT to find out whether love really is blind.

The Weakest Link (Season 11 Premiere): The Weakest Link presenter Anne Robinson returns with a whole new bunch of contestants to quiz, challenge and generally terrify. Nine contestants are brought together to play the fastest, meanest quiz show on television. They don’t know each other, but they will have to work as a team if they want to win prize money of up to £20,000. But eight of them will leave with nothing, as round by round they lose the player voted the weakest link. DStv audiences can tune into BBC Entertainment on DStv from Tuesday 6 September at 17:35 CAT to watch one of the most successful quiz formats of all time, and has been produced in more than 30 countries.

Top Gear(Season 7 Premiere): More high-octane episodes of the world’s biggest car show. Packed full of serious cars with serious power, this series features the incredible Pagani Zonda R, one of the loudest objects known to man, and the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever; the 599 GTO. DStv audiences can tune into BBC Entertainment on DStv from Wednesday 7 September at 20:00 CAT to watch Jeremy racing against time in the new Jag XJ as he tries to beat the sun to Land’s End. Richard attempts to beat gravity in a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and James takes the Ariel Atom v8, the new, more powerful version of the car which tried to rip Jeremy’s face off around the Top Gear track.Plus there’s the usual line-up of star guests driving the ‘Reasonably Priced Car’, including John Bishop, tennis legend Boris Becker and Jonathan Ross. Which one will top the leader board?

Ty Pennington’s Homes for the Brave (Premiere): American designer Ty Pennington has transformed many dilapidated houses across the world. Now, he’s taking his expertise to the UK to help transform the homes of soldiers and their families, improving the homes of five heroes who have worked in some of the world’s most hostile environments. In Ty Pennington’s Homes for the Brave, the larger-than-life presenter must revamp and redesign homes to meet the needs of soldiers who’ve recently returned from duty. DStv audiences can tune into BBC Lifestyle from Monday 5 September at 19.30 CAT to watch Ty take on what could be his most challenging task yet.
