Davido Returns To Atlanta For The “Davido & Friends Birthday Concert” At State Farm Arena Presented By Wynn Records

Three-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated global superstar and King of Afrobeats Davido will ring in his 32nd birthday in style! He takes over State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA on November 21 for the massive “Davido & Friends Birthday Concert” presented by Wynn Records. He rolls into the home of the Atlanta Hawks for what will be a sellout spectacle highlighted by his seismic performance and all kinds of surprises!

Throughout the evening, Davido will celebrate his birthday in addition to the fifth anniversary of his international breakthrough album A Good Time—which arrived on November 22, 2019. Expect a night highlighted by boundary-breaking bangers delivered with his signature gusto and charisma as well as special guests.

A Good Time still shines as major turning point for Afrobeats worldwide. It not only boasts the Platinum-certified “Fall” and Gold-certified “If,” but it also includes collaborations with an A-list cohort of special guests such as Summer Walker, Gunna, Chris Brown, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Popcaan, and Naira Marley. Beyond tallying half-a-billion streams and counting, it earned widespread acclaim. The Guardian hailed, “Davido’s undeniable charisma and intricate understanding of warm, uplifting pop instrumentation,” and Pitchfork christened it “a buoyant, unsinkable record, one of the genre’s finest ever.”

The show serves as a spiritual successor to his (A.W.A.Y.) Are We African Yet? Festival, which transformed State Farm Arenainto the ultimate celebration of African music and culture in 2023. “Davido & Friends Birthday Concert” continues a banner year for the superstar. In April, he sold out one of the most iconic venues in the world, headlining Madison Square Garden in New York City.
