Derrick Twum to represent Ghana at Mister Africa International

<![CDATA[London-based Derrick Twum will represent Ghana in a new international male pageant scheduled for London on September 29. Body building may be common in the Africa but male pageants aren’t as common in the continent. The House of Twitch, producers of the Mr Ideal Nigeria, Mr Earth SA, Mr Earth Ghana, and Mr Earth Liberia is set to change the status quo with the launch a unique international pageant dubbed, Mister Africa International.   The maiden edition will see 20 country delegates welcomed to the beautiful Aldgate London Campus of the London Metropolitan University for the contest. According to the president of the pageant, Ayotunde Fabamwo, the idea of the pageant is to gather some of the most handsome and sporty young men of African origin with amazing entrepreneurial skills across the world. He explained that London was chosen to host the African pageant because “London is the home of the Olympics and we want to enjoy the diversity that London brings” One of the main features of the event will be unveiling of some of Africa’s most creative minds and it will feature the likes of OKunnoren Twins, El frida , Asake Oge , Cliclcoc Watch , Zakrayas Solomon among others. The winner of the pageant will raise funds for education and small scale businesses in African, he gets endorsement deals , movie features, grace magazine covers, walk the world’s biggest fashion shows and enjoy a year contract with one of London’s biggest modelling agencies.
