These bras are meant for high-intensity workouts. They are specially designed with inbuilt cups. The bras offer separate cups for each boo to help carry out high-performing activities such as running, and there will be minimal breast movement. The sports bra cups can be heavily padded or generally light. Moreover, encapsulation sports bras sometimes come with underwires too. These encapsulation sports bras make it easy to finish your target fitness goal without your breasts bouncing too much.

Compression and Encapsulation

This kind of bra for sports offers the effect of both encapsulation and compression. The bras contain encapsulated cups for holding each breast separately. It also has compressors made of spacer and mesh fabrics that hold your boobs in one place. You should not wear the same sports bra when cycling, running, or doing yoga. Depending on your level of activity, sports bras have three different impact level categories. They include:

1.     Low Impact

These sports bras are worn for activities that have minimum bust movement and bouncing. It is worn for activities like yoga, Pilates, and walking. Most low-impact sports bras do not have separate cups.

2.    Medium Impact

These bras are worn while participating in activities that have moderate bust movements, such as Zumba, brisk walking, cycling, and hiking. They offer better support and hold than low-impact bras. The medium-impact sports bra may have cups or fail to have them.

3.    High Impact

This type of bra is worn while taking part in activities that are bound to prompt full breast movement and can have an excessive bounce. The physical activities include running, dancing, cross-fit training, and kickboxing. These sports bras offer the best level of support and hold your bust in place.
