Ernestee makes claims to the title of ‘New Highlife King’ with new album
Ernest Acheampong, known in the showbiz as Ernestee , has made claims to the title of ‘New Highlife King’.
Ernest hails from Kwahu Abetifi but was born in Koforidua. He started music in the year 2000 and recorded his first album in Ndwomtofoohene Nana Kwame Ampadu’s studios. The album tittled “Mefre medo” knew very little success despite Ernest’s attempts to promote it nationwide.
“I relaxed over things because the album didn’t go through. I now return into music with all seriousness,” says Ernestee who describes himself as the ‘New Highlife King’
He has recorded a new album tittled “Ohye Adee Kura Adee” featuring 12 tracks, seven love songs, three funeral songs and one gospel. He has two video out namely ‘Ohye Adee’ and ‘Mafeley’
