Full list of winners at the 2024 BET Awards

The 2024 BET Awards, held on June 30 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, celebrated Black excellence in entertainment with host Taraji P. Henson leading the event for the third consecutive year.

The night opened with a powerful performance by Megan Thee Stallion, marking her return after a three-year hiatus. A highlight was the tribute to Usher, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, featuring performances by Childish Gambino, Keke Palmer, and others. Usher also won Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, cementing his influence in contemporary R&B.

The awards spotlighted emerging talent, with Tyla from South Africa winning both Best International Act and Best New Artist, reflecting her rising impact in the music industry. Other notable winners included Victoria Monét for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and SZA, who won in the BET Her and Viewer’s Choice categories for “Saturn.” The event also honored achievements in film and sports, with The Equalizer 3 winning Best Movie and Will Smith’s “You Can Make It” featuring Kirk Franklin and the Sunday Service Choir taking home Best Gospel/Inspirational Award.
