Born Confidence Okey, Shorty Ace is a rapper and a banker, from Rivers state but based in Lagos state, who has managed to stay true to the game since his days at Babcock University. He is also a member of the Festac and Ogba popular rap group, Hoodsta. ShortyAce a.k.a Bembs a.k.a Lucky Lefty 2 Gunz tha emcee a.k.a Tha Lieutenant, has a way of outshining rappers on their own tracks despite his 9 to 5. With influences from Snoop, Biggie, HOV n LOX, Shorty Ace’s gangster demeanour is pretty hard to ignore.
Shorty Ace is set to keep heads in the streets of Lagos bumping with his first solo single, appropriately ‘My Nickname’ for the man of many aliases. The track is produced by JRS and is taken off the EP aptly named “Too Dope For Radio”. Check it out >>DOWNLOAD
