Ghana amplifies issuance of Visa-on-Arrival for travellers to Ghana as foreign missions face challenges
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a communique the Kotoka International Airport and all airlines regarding the use of special authorisation permit by Ghana missions abroad for passengers traveling to Ghana.
According to the letter, Ghana missions abroad are facing challenges in issuing visas that has created chaos and inconveniences for travellers. As such travellers to Ghana are being advised to apply for visa-on-arrival.

Gabby Otchere-Darko shared the letter on Twitter, saying :”In order not to frustrate our own policy of making Ghana a major tourist destination, and tourism one of our biggest forex earners, speeding up on the e-visa policy is critical and, in fact, urgent.”
