Highlife Musician, KK Fosu has advised Ghanaian artistes to refocus on their crafts and create exceptional evergreen sounds to stay relevant.

Speaking in a recent interview on UTV, the ‘Odo Nti’ singer explained that although social media has made music easily accessible, it is important for artistes to resist from following trends and focus on making timeless music.

KK Fosu urged musicians to create evergreen songs that will make their legacies live on for ages.

“As a musician, you need to know commercial music and evergreen music. Nowadays, we are just doing music because of money; we are hungry, and we want fame. We are not like our pioneers, who released evergreen songs,” he stated.

Kk Fosu added that, it is important for artists not to rush in releasing songs and not to make music just for trends.

“Now if you contact Amakye Dede, Amakye Dede will certainly charge more than us, which is a fact. You should know when to release it and when not. For musicians, when you continue to follow a trend, you’ll fade out soon because when the trend passes away, you have a big problem,” he said.
