Ghanaian Artistes Should thank Nigerian Artistes For bringing the world’s attention to Africa- Wendy Shay
Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay has asked that Ghanaian musicians show gratitude to their Nigerian counterparts for bringing the world’s attention to Africa.
Over the last few years, Nigerian musicians like Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have through their strides, brought attention to the world of Afro-beats, making it the most popular genre in the world at the moment.
Through the efforts of these Nigerian artists, the world has turned its attention to Africa, such that all afro-beats artists especially in West Africa, are benefiting from this attention.

Wendy Shay believes this attention, which has rubbed off on her and other Ghanaian artists, deserve praise where praise is due.
“Ghanaian Artistes Should thank Nigerians Artistes , For bringing the world’s attention to Africa …through Afrobeats. Ghana wake up,” she recently wrote on Facebook.
