Ghanaian music group, Krikedeke led by Andy Tay was also nominated in the Music and Culture category. Krikedeke is a live band music group with one album to their credit and many performances in Ghana and West Africa. SICA is represented by Ringworld Limited in Ghana and according to a press statement, the West African Consultant for SICA, Oumar Diagne confirmed Ghana’s participation in the ceremony.
Abeiku Santana, Sherrifa Gunu, and Caroline Sampson are all past winners of SICA.
