Highlights: Graduates of Dreams College of Creative Arts hold swanky fashion gala

Dreams College of Creative Arts held its annual graduation ceremony on Saturday, August 10, 2019. The ceremony saw 12 students who have successfully completed all the prescribed courses during their duration of study in the institution graduate at a beautiful Convocation Ceremony.

The honcho of DCCA- GHANA Dr Clement Senyo Asemnyra in his speech intimated that Africa is the new hub responsible for the grooming of new Creative Designers to take over the fashion world and that the institution is one such leading factory producing such well sought after creatives for the African industry and the world at large.

The Ceremony was graced by British International Academic Board (BIAA) council member Honorable Eusebius Agodzo and Dreams fashion Icon of the year Belinda Baidoo, who was honored for her innovative contribution to the modeling industry in Ghana. Ms Belinda Baidoo adviced the new Graduates to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to them in their sector and continue to learn through internships.

 

The ceremony culminated with a fabulous Graduate show which had the 12 graduates showing their collection at the chic ballroom of bakeshop Classics.

The event marks the conclusion of the hard work, dedication and commitment the students make in producing an array of directional and contemporary fashion looks. This year’s graduate catwalk looks found inspiration from global cultures including Latin heritage, the global traveller, couture and the corporate world.

The event showcased the depth and breadth of creative talents the students gained over their journey In DCCA.

Following the show, the top 4 best collection received Awards and also an opportunity to show case their collection on other upcoming fashion shows in Ghana and Aboard.

Platinum Collection of the Year – Godwin Elikem Klagbo

Gold Collection of the Year –  Pius Elizabeth Okiemute

Sliver College Of the Year – Theresa Ntsiful Addo

Present at the ceremony were many fashion influencers, academic directors, fashion designers and bloggers.

Dreams Graduation Fashion Gala was obviously beyond the Stars.
