Tema based rapper, Dadie Opanka, believes he has worked really hard and hence, deserves the best rapper award in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Opanka, who released a couple of hit singles back in 2018, is considered as one of Ghana’s finest rappers due to his unique delivering rap style.
Speaking in an interview with GNA Entertainment, Opanka, stated.
“I have been in music for quite a while and I always do my best to offer my fans with good rap music. My focus is not necessarily about winning awards, but I feel I need to be recognized considering my exploits in the music industry, which lacks quality rappers,” he said.
Opanka, who didn’t make it into the shortlist for the 2018 best rapper award, would be hopeful of being nominated in the best rapper category and possibly win the award.
Opanka’s recently released single “Menzgold” has gained massive airplay across top TV and radio stations in the country.
