I don’t charge for features – Simi
Nigerian music diva, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, professionally known as Simi, has recently revealed that she doesn’t charge her fellow artistes for a feature.
According to the ‘Joromi’ hitmaker, she has never charged any artsite for a feature, detailing that she’s selective of the kind of songs she features in and will only feature in the song if she really likes it. Simi emphasized that when she finds a song that deeply connects with her, the creative process goes smoothly, and she quickly writes her part for the track.
The popular crooner made this revelation while speaking in an exclusive interview on The Tea with Tay podcast.
“Till this moment, I have never charged for a feature. For me to do a feature I have to really like it.
“I have to like the song. If I like the song, give me half a day, I am done. If I don’t like the song I will most likely say no. It’s not personal. I can take a ‘No. Things are not personal, it’s just what it is ,” she said.
