“I would love to record with Daddy Lumba, the great man,” Darlington stated, reflecting on the significance of such a partnership. He acknowledged the challenges of securing this collaboration but remains hopeful, suggesting that he might even consider retiring from music if it comes to fruition.

When asked why he believes it would be difficult to collaborate with Lumba, Darlington pointed out the rarity of such occurrences.

“Have you ever heard any artist feature Daddy Lumba? It doesn’t happen. It’s got to be Daddy Lumba rather than featuring another artist,” he explained. He added that discussions with people close to Lumba indicate that the music icon admires his work but remains uncertain about a collaboration.

Kweku Darlington also recounted his earlier dream of working with Okyeame Kwame, which successfully materialized, and now he has set his sights on Daddy Lumba.

“I may even retire from music if it happens. Working with someone the country considers the GOAT will not be an easy achievement because I want to be counted among the best,” he added.
