Although South African rapper, Nasty C revealed he turned down Sarkodie’s request for a collaboration in the past, he is now ready to give him his “hardest” verse.

‘The Zulu Man With Some Power’ hitmaker had revealed during a freestyle session on Metro FM’s ‘The Touch Down’ show in South Africa that Sarkodie contacted him twice about doing a feature but he turned him down because of the latter’s unfriendly behavior in their first meeting.

‘See, when i first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand…Cool, i’m not too proud to say i’m still a fan but i held a grudge and told myself to wait till i’m the man, i’ll never give that man a verse oh boy, did i stick to my plan, two requests over the years and I decline them both,” he said in the freestyle.

However, the Def Jam Recordings artist said that the reveal was pure catharsis and that no harm was intended. He also made an effort to make peace.

“You see, this is the best way I know how to get stuff out of my chest. I am just a disappointed kid. It’s nothing more or less. But now I am over that, and he got all my respect,” he said.

“If he asks me to do a verse again, it will be my hardest one yet,” he added.
