‘Producers Box’, a show that would teach the fun side of beat production and how musicians create their hit songs to every stakeholder and music lovers in the country, is set to commence in November. The annual show would be made up of beat producers, musicians, DJ/Presenter and fans.

The show would be held in an open space with the fans watching on and musicians on the standby, as beat producers tell them about how the beat for their breakthrough songs was created. When the beat is ready the musician whose lyrics gave meaning to the beat also gets to explain to fans how he/she went about composing the lyrics, finding the hooks and the difficulty in composing the chorus. The artist would also record LIVE in front of fans. Still in the box will be a DJ/Presenter, who would also take the audience through how to get a complete song on air, and also talk about how DJs identify a good song.

Daniel Ankrah, CEO of THA EPIDEMIKS (organizers of the show), comments: “basically we are assembling beat producers and musicians (both upcoming and known), together with their fans plus the ordinary Ghanaians to come have fun as we learn how our musicians and producers do their magic”.

Registration for interested participants is ongoing. For more information, call 0246263094 or 0548310148.
