Facetime lovers get ready! Apple users will now be able to Facetime Android users.

For all of you technology lovers, iOS is getting another makeover! On June 7th, 2021, Apple kicked off their annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with some new exciting features to their software.

 

iOS15 users will finally be able to facetime non-apple users with an easy sharable link. This will create a more efficient ways for Apple owners to communicate with Samsung, LG, Sony and many more.

 

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference is where developers attend meet and greets with Apples engineers. Apple also uses this as opportunity to announce what to expect from its software platform.

Among other things announced, iOS15 users will be able to share songs or videos in the messages app and watch along with family and friends.

 

Apple is here to help you focus; users can now control notifications with the #Focus update which allows you select which apps can send you notifications. Also, Apple Maps will be getting a brand-new look. We will be seeing vivid colors, smaller details and straightforward instructions to easily direct you to your destination.

Air pod users will now be able to ask Siri to “find my air pods”, just like the find my phone app, you’ll be able to search for misplace air pods. And if you’re a part of the “health is wealth” family, your health app now lets you know when you’ve been more or less active.

 

Lastly, iOS15 will now be respecting our privacy. Starting with the Mail App and Safari, companies will no longer be able to use your IP (internet) address to track you.

 

iOS15 will be released to the public September 2021
