<![CDATA[Kaakie’s nationwide KAAKIT UP Tour will make its first stopover at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday May 25. The tour put together by RACKUS production, Xtra-Large Music, and Smart Media Ghana, will feature SAMINI, KWAW-KESE, EDEM, STONEBWOY, the organizers has said.
Also joining her for the first show, are a group of Tamale-based acts including FANCY GADEM, DEENSI,TUBA DAGOMBA, KAWASTONE, CHOGGU BOYS and the LAST 2 Dancers.
The five-regional tour of Ghana would also make stopovers in Sunyani, Kumasi and Takoradi and Accra.
“My first year has been very good, a lot of ups, some downs but I am grateful to God and my fans for holding me down all through it all,” she says.
“For me I think, it’s only natural that, I take my music to my fans particularly outside Accra and together with my artiste friends to show them love, appreciation and some gratitude for staying loyal to my music and act. So yes I will urge everybody to come out let’s run things inna their city.”
The tour according to her handlers, will also be used to raise funds to support a maternal health project, dear to her heart.
