Ghanaian- American professional wrestler, Kofi Kingston could be planning a trip to Ghana anytime soon.

The reigning WWE champion who moved from Ghana to the United states 25years ago hinted on a possible return to the motherland via his social media pages.

He posted a video which his mom had sent to him of his uncle and the people in Techiman watching him win the WWE title at Wrestlemania.

“In seeing this, I am overcome with pride and joy. I’m still blown away by how many lives we touched. This video is a reminder of why we do what we do: to lift spirits and inspire others. I am so grateful to be in a position to do so.” Kofi Kingston said.

He added further that ‘it might be time to go back and visit”

Kofi became the first African-born to hold the prestigious WWE title after defeating Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35 on 7th April 2019 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
