<![CDATA[Sapphire Ghana Ltd, the producers of the nationally renowned talk show program ‘Thank God It’s Friday (T.G.I.F.)’ introduces a hot new family sitcom titled ‘Ogya FM – Radio You Can Watch’. The 30- minute series is written by KSM and jointly directed by him and his sister Anima Misa-Amoah. ‘Ogya FM’ is a unique look at radio in a totally different way – on the television! It highlights the funny every day and sometimes controversial goings-on at a popular radio station – a primary medium for communication across Africa. It throws together outstanding actors in a whacky mix of characters with hilarious consequences. Adjetey Anang is totally charming as a talk show host; Soul Night Jazz is eccentric and hilarious as the health crazy station owner of Ogya FM. Add Mavis Fumey the gum-popping producer, Ebenezer Ayeh (“Wofa K”), an aspiring radio presenter with a major potbelly problem and his witty long-term girlfriend Benedicta Benny and you can only imagine the results. Alba Sumprim, a hardnosed social commentator adds a controversial touch to the outrageous group. At the same time, the sitcom goes beyond your average entertainment show to incorporate educational undertones on the importance of advocacy and is produced by Sapphire Ghana Ltd with funds from BUSAC. The show airs every Tuesday at 8.30 pm on Metro and the first episode aired on the 29th of May. ]]>
