Kwesi Amewuga Wins TGMA Unsung Artiste Of The Year
Ahead of the most prestigious music awards scheme in Ghana, Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024(TGMA) slated for 1st June, Kwesi Amewuga has been announced winner of the Unsung initiative.
The fast rising rapper, was on Sunday, May 26, 2024, announced winner of the category. The ‘Prepare’ hitmaker won ahead of his competitors Kasar, Lali X Lola, Keeny Ice , Seven Kizs and Alaptawan .
Kwesi Amewuga, as the tradition has been since its inception in 2015, will perform at this year’s edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards which will be held on Saturday 1st June 2024.
The Unsung is an initiative to project underground artistes who need the platform and exposure to make it to mainstream. Previous year’s has seen winners like Lynx Entertainment artiste Kuami Eugene, Afrobeats artiste KelvynBoy among others.
