<![CDATA[After its star-studded and glitzy June 8th premiere at the iconic Troxy Cinema, which was attended by over 1300 excited new Nollywood movie fans, ‘Last Flight to Abuja’ is set to hit the cinemas from June 29. The premiere was held in honour of the over 170 souls who lost their lives in the recent tragic air disasters in Accra and Lagos of 3rd June. With uncanny similarities to recent tragic events in Nigeria, Last Flight to Abuja is a moving movie from Obi Emelonye, the acclaimed director of The Mirror Boy. Inspired by true events, Last Flight to Abuja is a high octane disaster thriller and the first Nigerian movie to be set on an aeroplane. The movie stars some of Africa’s best screen actors Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Hakeem Kae-Kazim and Jim Iyke and features SFX never before seen in any Nollywood movie. Last Flight to Abuja unravels the twists, turns and leaps of fate that put a set of everyday Nigerian travelers on-board a stricken plane teetering on the brink of disaster at 30,000 feet. Caught up in a nightmare scenario all the passengers pray as the final moments of their lives approach. All except one! What does he know? Will they survive the Last Flight to Abuja?
