<![CDATA[It was a night of fashion, music, comedy, poetry and more as Citi FM hosted the 2013 edition of its annual fashion showcase, Expressions of Accra at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. Held under the theme, Creative Explosion, the event aims to unearth talents in the fashion and creative industry as well as help promote well known and recognized brands through the exhibition of their unique creative designs.
Designers on the night showcased creative and trendy ways to rock GTP textiles. They included AfroMod Trends, Ghana’s representative at this year’s Big Brother Africa —The Chase, Elikem the Tailor, Sa4a Designs, Ameyo, Horseman Shoes and MAKSI Clothing. Also, another BBA— The Chase housemate, Pokello from Zimbabwe who is a guest designer launched her new clothing line “Queen of Swagger”.
In addition, the fashion night will be laced with performances from highlife singer, K.K. Fosu, poet Nana Asaase and comedian Bash from Nigeria. Guests included former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings who hit the stage to dance with KK Fosu during his performance.
