Love & Hip Hop’s Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena are expecting a baby

‘Love & Hip Hop stars, Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have a baby on the way.

The couple have confirmed that they are expecting their first child together. They revealed the exciting news in a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired video obtained by E-News.

“Wow, wow, it’s a big deal! Very big deal. I didn’t know I was capable of doing this but I’m excited!” said Safaree while rubbing Mena’s belly.

Safaree admits that he’s excited and nervous about becoming a dad. “I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m in shock. I’m in disbelief. It’s like very surreal to me,” he said. “I don’t know what the hell to do, but I know I’m going to be great at what I do because I’m great at everything.”

Safaree already has big plans for his first born. “This baby will come out of the womb working,” he joked. “I was working very early. I’m about to pull a [DJ] Khaled. This baby, as soon as it comes out, we are working.”

Samuels, who previously dated Nicki Minaj, proposed to Mena last Christmas Eve at her house in Atlanta. According to Page Six, the couple will tie the knot next week and the cameras for their VH1 show will be rolling.

This will be Samuels’ first child. Mena has a 12-year-old son, King Conde, from a previous relationship with Raul Conde.
