Majid Michel wins Best Actor at first Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards

According to news coming in from North Carolina, USA, Ghanaian Actor, Majid Michel won the nod for the Best Actor in a Leading Role prize at the inaugural Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards which took at the Sheraton Imperial Grand Ball Room over the weekend.  He was nominated alongside Ekow Blankson, Ramsey Nouah, Benjamin Joseph and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.

Majid won the award for his role in the much talked about movie on wars in Africa, ‘Somewhere in Africa’.  The movie which had topped the list of nominations for the award ceremony also won Frank Arase Rajah the Best Director nod.
