Marylove Opoku-Mensah, CEO of ML Events Ghana graduates with First Class honours

CEO of ML Events Ghana, Ms. Marylove Opoku-Mensah, at the 19thCongregation of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) on Thursday, 4 July, 2019 admonished young women to break the glass ceiling.

The 27 year old Finance and Administrative Manager in one of Ghana’s leading Insurance Companies and CEO of ML Events Ghana graduated with First Class Honours in LLB from the GIMPA Law School, visibly excited at the recent graduation of law students said, “It takes lot of hard work, sleepless nights to achieve any dream, but it is always worth the while.”

The 2018 40 under 40 nominee in the Events and Planning Category was among six students who graduated with a first class honors with about 300 law students who will prepare to write an entrance into the Ghana Law School.

Speaking to Ms. Opoku- Mensah, she said, it always takes the extra step, going a bit further and beyond our comfort zones if we clearly know what we want both as men and women not just for women.

“People who have etched their names in fields of accomplishments have always been resilient people who put their eyes on the ball despite many challenges and that is my message to all, lets work hard at anything we seek to do” She added.

Ms Opoku- Mensah, also a Certified Chartered Economist, for over the last five years runs the exceptionally successful event management company, ML Events Ghana which works  primarily by organizing private and corporate events that looks to create memorable events for its clients.

The Company is noted for events like Miss Elite Legon, the 2015 Girl Talk Fashion Show as well as other beautifully executed private and corporate events in Ghana.

She expressed her gratitude to God, family and the lecturers at the faculty for the grace to have achieved this feat.

The GIMPA Law School, renowned for excellence in academic excellence, topped with the highest number of students in the 2017/2018 Professional Law Course Examination with 21 students from the school among 64 students from 9 Universities entering the Ghana School of Law.
