Medikal and D-Black Reunite After Fella Makafui Cigar incident
Ghanaian musicians Medikal and D Black have reconciled after a misunderstanding stemming from a video in which D Black was seen lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui, Medikal’s ex-wife.
D Black, on Star FM’s Starr Chat with Bola Ray addressed the situation, expressing that he wished Medikal had approached him privately rather than criticizing him on social media. He clarified that he had no ill intentions and was unaware of Medikal and Fella Makafui’s divorce at the time.
Explaining the event, D Black recounted that the actress, accompanied by around 20 people, came to his club during a cigar party and asked him to light her cigar. After he obliged, she left shortly afterward.
Medikal, in turn, admitted that the video influenced his decision to announce his divorce. He wanted to preempt questions about Fella’s whereabouts. He acknowledged that his reaction on social media was impulsive and driven by his emotions.
The two renowned musicians then apologized to each other and embraced, effectively resolving their disagreement.
They also shared a moment of laughter, reminiscing about the playful jabs they exchanged in their songs during the heated period.
The host, Bola Ray, commended their reconciliation and encouraged them to maintain harmony going forward, urging them to continue on the path of peace.
