Ghanaian rapper Medikal, and his “best friend,” “Dancehall King” Shatta Wale have lashed out at a journalist and his media house for spreading false information about them.

Earlier today, on Citi TV, a panel had discussed Shatta Wale’s issues with Burna Boy, and what Medikal had reportedly said on the issue via a tweet.

However, the account which made such tweet, is not the official handle of Medikal, but a parody account.

Medikal has since taken to Twitter, via his official Twitter account, to express his displeasure and anger about what the journalist had reported he said about Burna Boy and Shatta Wale.

He explained that none of what the Citi TV panel had said was true, adding that he never stated that Shatta Wale played the singular role in shooting Burna Boy to fame as the journalist claimed he had said.

“Some of y’all wake up in the morning, put on some cheap clothes and spread some BS on national television without doing any research. No form or level of professionalism exhibited here. When and where did I say this ? My question is who de employ these people ? Smd,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale is equally not happy with the reportage, and has since also taken to Twitter to call Citi TV out for making false claims on the issue.

“Those 3 ppl on @CitiTVGH talking like 3tsw3 nu, Ibe foolishity of ignorance or what .. And they will call it content. mcheeewwwww !!! Animals,” Shatta Wale tweeted.
