Ghanaian rapper, D-Black will soon introduce a new alter ego to fans across Africa and the world ahead of the release of his sophomore Album, ‘The Revelation’ slated for January 1, 2012. The first single off the album, is the banger ‘My Kinda Girl’ featuring Sarkodie which hit Ghanaian airwaves a week before the rapper left for the USA as a nominee for the BET Awards in June.

According to sources, an animated feature is in the works for the video of ‘My Kinda Girl’. As if it wasn’t exciting enough to see the cartoon versions of D-Black and Sarkodie, they will also be joined by animated versions of some well-known faces including Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Joselyn Dumas, Reggie Rockstone, Majid Michel, and Nadia Buari. Hmm, now we know the kind of girls those two meant when they were doing the rap.  Also joining the animated cast are D-Black’s protégée and signee, Dee Moneey as well as his best friend Robidebs.

The song produced by new kid on the block and Black Avenue Muzik producer, Gafacci is already a favourite in some nightclubs and the music video is expected to premiere on October 3.
