<![CDATA[They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, over 500 beautiful damsels took a bold step into prominence and auditioned for Miss Malaika 2013 but only ten smart, intelligent and beautiful delegates were chosen to compete for the enviable Cash, Crown and Car. The journey is almost coming to an end for these ten delegates who are anxiously waiting for the grand finale come October 12th at the National Theater for their fantasies to become realities. The delegates are campaigning endlessly and tiredly for their fans to keep voting for them however this year’s competition goes beyond just the delegates; it’s also a competition for the celebrity god sisters Joselyn Dumas, Sandra Ankobia and Hamamat Montia. The celebrity god sisters are trying their best to canvass for votes for their delegates to win the ultimate crown so they can proudly hit their chest and say “my delegate won Miss Malaika 2013” especially for Hamamat who has already lost two delegates. Come the 12th of October 2013 at the National Theater, the celebrity god sisters speculations and hard work will pay off when one of their delegates will be crowned Miss Malaika 2013. The celebrity god sisters delegates are Twumwaa, Naa Oyoe, Priscilla and Selma representing Joselyn Angels mentored by Joselyn Dumas, Ohemma group has Aisha and Betty mentored by Hammat Montia, Yoda, Lordina, Abigail and Lois from The Queens group mentored by Sandra Ankobia. So which celebrity god sister’s delegates will be Miss Malaika 2013? This one in a million question will be answered on 0ctober 12th at the National Theater. The night won’t be about the ten delegates and their celebrity god sisters; there will be spectacular performances by Efya, Becca, Raquel and Eazzy. It will be a night of beauty, intelligence and music, a night where another delegate will get the bragging rights of being Miss Malaika 2013, a night where there would be ooohs and ahhhs I think this person should have won. The grand finale next week promises to be fun packed and a night of surprises; all roads will lead to the National Theater on Saturday, 12th October 2013, tickets are on sale at X-MEN, Koala and Charterhouse for 30ghc standard and 50ghc premium.
