More Beef: Jon Germain incurs the wrath of Kwaw Kesse

It appears that a feud that may have started with Jon Germain listing Kwaw Kesse as his least favourite Ghanaian rapper in an interview with Sparxx Magazine may have degenerated into a real industry beef between the two.  In a reply to Jon Germain, Kwaw Kesse referred to Jon as “Jon Gyimii” (Jon foolishness in Twi) in one of his songs.

More recently, an incident at the studios of e-TV proved that there is more to this beef than just mere name calling. Jon and Kwaw were invited to the studio as guests on the Celebrity Soccer Show to discuss one of the FIFA World Cup matches among other issues.  When Kwaw Kesse arrived to find Jon Germain in the studios before going on air, he stated categorically that he wasn’t going to be on the same show with Jon. In spite of several attempts by the producers to make the show happen, Kwaw declined and eventually walked out of the studio while Jon stayed for the show. Kwaw however returned to the studios on another day to be a part of the TV program.

Jon Germain just laughed at the incidence on Friday’s edition of e-TV’s breakfast show, Awake. Although the whole thing seems like a joke to Jon, it seems Kwaw is not ready to let it go away. J.O.T Agyemang, host of Awake said he would attempt to get both parties on the show and try to solve the issue amicably. Let’s see how far that would go!!!
