Ghanaian actress and Instagram model, Moesha Boduong has revealed that her relationship with the married man from her infamous CNN interview did not work out because it wasn’t “God’s will”.
Speaking with Nana Ama McBrown on her show on UTV, the actress said that relationship wasn’t meant to be so she’s out of it.
“I’m out of that relationship a long time ago. It’s not God’s will, obviously it’s someone’s husband. My new guy is single, Mine,” she said.
Answering a question about her infamous CNN interview which got her a lot of backlash from women in the country, Moesha said that people misunderstood her.
“I didn’t generalize. People misunderstood my choice of words. I was just talking about my self and my truth. At that point in my life I was dating a married man and I was carried away. I was in love so I was just talking about it. And the show was about sex, marriage and love so I was just speaking my truth,” she added.
The actress also added that she doesn’t blame girls who date married men because sometimes they fall in love with them and get carried away.
“It happens. Sometimes you don’t plan to date a married man, sometimes you don’t even know, later you find out but you are in love and you are stuck in it,” she added.
