My stadium concert record is yet to be broken- Sonnie Badu

Sonnie Badu, the Founder and Lead Pastor of RockHill Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has waded into the ongoing debate about which artiste can fill the Accra Sports Stadium following the debacle with Wizkid’s concert over the weekend.

According to the award-winning Gospel singer, his “Africa Worships with Sonnie Badu” concert held in November 2014 remains one of his biggest concert yet, and this record is yet to be broken by any artist.

In a video shared by Sonnie Badu amidst the conversation, he captioned;

“ACCRA SPORTS STADIUM, was one of my most emotional concerts ever… It RAINED throughout the entire concert, but no one was willing to leave… The crowd pushed and took over the concert .. One day we will break our own records again. ATLANTA get ready ..”

 

Sonnie’s reminder of his achievement caught the attention of some followers who stated that he was trying to bring attention to the fact that he has filled up the stadium before.

“Chairman dey come so guy guy for here say he filled the stadium, eii,” a follower commented.

Sonnie Badu responded to the comment stating that the record is still yet to be broken and he will do it again.

“@dr kwamenkrumah lol even if I never do again, the record is still yet to be broken, let’s learn to appreciate hard work .. don’t worry I will do it again ..,” he wrote.
