<![CDATA[Contemporary Ghanaian poet and spoken word artist, Nana Asaase is set to treat his audience to yet another thrilling cultural performance. He is billed to perform for the second time at Citi FM’s highlife concert, the Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) at the National Theatre on Farmer’s Day, December 6, 2013. MOGO; a highlife musical celebration is an initiative of Citi FM aimed at celebrating the past and inspiring the future through music and works of art including poetry and spoken word. This will be Nana Asaase’s second appearance at the MOGO event and he is promising an inspiring performance. Patrons of the show should expect to see a blend of traditional instruments with simple songs every Ghanaian adult can relate and infused with punchy lines and superb stage craft. Last year, Nana Assase together with his colleague, Chief Moomen treated the MOGO patrons with some authentic Ghanaian poetry but this year, some staff at Citi FM will join in his performance. Don’t miss out; be there to listen and watch the young man who speaks ‘mpanyinsem’.]]>
