New Barcelos restaurant opens at the Achimota Retail Center

Consolidated Franchises Ghana Ltd, operators of the Barcelos brand in Ghana, has opened a new restaurant at the Achimota Retail Center in Accra.

The official launch, which took place on Friday, December 4, brings the total number of Barcelos restaurants currently running in Ghana to four. This includes outlets at the Accra Mall, West Hills Mall and The Junction Mall.

Barcelos is a Portuguese styled restaurant chain; serving healthy, spicy and tasty meals in a friendly and warm ambiance. It is famed for its flame grilled chicken, and delicious burgers. The menu includes beef and chicken burgers, chicken with chips, chicken with jollof or spicy rice, salads, shawarmas, and many specialties.

The Managing Director, Mrs Celine Owusu-Afari, at the official opening said Achimota Retail Centre branch had always been a dream for her. “We have desired to expand our outlets in Accra. We were looking for a good location to do this and luckily this year, the space was vacant.”

Consolidated Franchises Ghana also has Pizzavella, an outlet which serves interesting and tasty pizzas including Vegetarian Pizza, Seafood Pizza, Calzone Pizza, Margarita, Pepperoni, Hawaiian Pizza and more.

Food from both Barcelos and Pizzavella can also be ordered for delivery throughout Accra.
