The stories’ creator, Kameko Tarnez, will direct this historical project. Speaking about the project, Co-Executive Producer, Hill Harper said: “‘Protector of the Gods’ is an epic and magical story that we have yet to see envisioned nor attempted by a Hollywood studio. I am honored and excited to be co-executive producer of this amazing film and help bring it to audiences across the globe. Kameko’s storytelling takes you through the larger than life history of ancient Egypt from a distinctly African perspective. I think it is essential that moviegoers understand and watch historically accurate depictions of African history, from more than simply a slave narrative. Now more than ever, audiences are hungry for stories such as these told without bias. I am excited to be a part of bringing it to millions around the world.” Boma Akpore, who has been making a name for himself in the modelling world for almost two decades, relocated to New York in 2011. He featured in the 2011/2012 New York Fashion Week after which he worked for Ralph Lauren as an in-store model and worked as a model host for top designers like Valentino, Ralph Lauren, coach, Christian Dior, Hermes. Boma has also done several runway shows and television commercials. As a sportsman, in 2011, Boma played football for New York Irish Rovers and won the league cup in Long Island Football League Division one in 2012. In 2013 he travelled to Belgium for professional football trials in the 3rd and 4th divisions, the trials were successful but due to work permit issues, he could not feature during the season. Now he is taking his chances with movies after getting training at New York Film Academy.
