Nigerian singer Runtown is in the news for not so good reasons. The ‘Unleash’ singer has been roped into a money scam by a US based lady. Shawn Rene Tiger, has accused Nigerian singer, Runtown and his brother of fraudulently collecting $124,000 an equivalent to 45 million naira from her.
According to the woman, Runtown collected the money from her fiancée with a promise to help him do a purchase in Kenya which never happened. The woman in a video called on the Nigerian Government to help her apprehend the musician and his brother and have them return the money to her and her fiancée. She went a step further to release picture evidence of the transaction.

There hasn’t been a response from Runtown’s camp as it could have been an impostor who used the singer’s name and image. The “Mad Over You” crooner is still in a legal battle with his former record Label; Eric Manny Records.
