<![CDATA[Former NFL player, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson appeared in a Miami courtroom on Friday where he pleaded “no contest” to the domestic battery charges filed against him after he fought with his wife Evelyn Lozado llast month. He was somber in a suit with his lawyer in the courtroom as he entered the plea and avoided any jail time following his arrest for head-butting Evelyn.
He was placed on 12 months probation, ordered to take domestic violence awareness classes and the judge ordered Johnson to have no direct or indirect contact with his ex-wife, including “no email, Twitter, or text.” Evelyn was not present in court, but the state’s attorney told the judge “she did not wish that he be incarcerated and she was fully aware of the terms of the plea and in agreement with them.”
Chad is still going to have to pay restitution but the lawyers said they have not come to a final amount because they’re “waiting on one additional medical bill.”
Chad and Evelyn’s divorce was finalized this week, despite his attempts to win Evelyn back, including getting her face tattooed on his calf.]]>
